Vision:
Something about these flowers remind me of Georgia O'Keeffe. I love the color scheme, especially the contrast of colors in both of the roses. The left has a creamy glow in the center and gradually fades out but still has a sense of youth and elegance while the second has that glow in the middle albeit tainted and seems to sag a little.
Originality:
I see quite a few of rose themed artworks on your page, which kind of took away from the originality. Nothing wrong with doing variations of the same work, but I personally like a diverse set of fresh artwork.
Technique:
I love the blur, especially in the background. One can see the small white flowers gently hanging while the rest is tactically blurred to give a sense of depth, a deeper sense itself is ingrained into these roses, as if the roses seem to spiral out of a deep space. I love how there is a sense of balance in the picture, the white rose has those little white flowers above it while the stained rose has that smaller purple flower print on the bottom right, giving equal weight and inspection to both sides.
Impact:
Something about the dual juxtaposition of the roses coupled with the soft background gives a very soft feel, especially with the velvety texture of the roses and the serrated edges on the right rose. Overall it provides for an overall delicate feel for the viewer and one can get lost in the intricacy of the roses while absorbing the complimentary background, allowing for a broad and wholesome viewing experience <3
